Job Profile :
The successful candidate will be a member of the Global Research team executing experiments in the area of optical systems under the guidance of an engineer.
The key responsibilities include
1. Work under the guidance of engineers to design and execute optical experiments.
2. Developing simulation models for analysis of optics systems.
3. Opto-mechanical designs for high temperature optical systems design
4. Deploying sensor systems in the field
5. Setting up room temperature or high temperature optical experiments
6. Effective communication of results by preparing reports, making presentations describing the analysis performed, solutions developed
Qualifications/Requirements :
# Bachelors or Masters in Optical Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, or related discipline or a Masters degree in Optical Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Applied Physics.
# Demonstrated experience with optics, electronics hardware instrumentation, setting up and performing experiments, variety of data collection systems.
# Knowledge of board level mixed signal circuit design.
# Demonstrated experience in use of optical modeling software
