Requirements :

• Under Graduate degree or equivalent
- 0-2 Years of overall experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong skill set in the areas of proactive problem solving, intuitive reasoning, decision making and organizational skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work and contribute in a team environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to manage time independently and meet deadlines

• Support all business areas of Target with critical data analysis that helps team members make profitable decisions.
• Become a forecast expert, business analyst or team lead and utilize tools like decision trees, clustering, regression, time series, structural equation modeling, linear programming, genetic algorithms, SAS, SQL, VBA and OLAP.

• As a Trainee Business Analyst, you'll take the lead as you
- Leverage analytical skills to identify shortage trends, define root causes, propose solutions, and measure impact.
- Work on ad-hoc projects under the guidance of the Team Leader
- Collate data from various sources such as websites, custom databases/ files to identify trends.
- Build tools and reports to perform and summarize analysis, identify new opportunities and monitor progress.
- Utilizes various end user applications to research and analyze inventory results.
- Plays a proactive role by developing leading indicators for shortage.
- Communicates Loss Prevention issues and recommendations to Assets Protection Leadership.
- Team Process Improvement - Works with various internal partners to improve effectiveness and efficiency of processes.
- Responsible for creating and delivering weekly and monthly reports.
- Special Projects - Takes on special projects assigned by the Team Leader as appropriate.
